Wacky Wednesday

Today, in my 2nd grade class, we were reviewing language skills, specifically editing sentences for errors. I gave out the worksheet, read the first question, "Have you seed my backpack?" and was about to ask "What's wrong with this sentence?", when one of my students called out, "What color it is?" I couldn't contain my laughter while explaining that I didn't really have a backpack I was looking for, never mind that he didn't recognize that "seed" was wrong!

Baby Chicks!

Ricky bought some baby chicks. I don't know who's enjoying them more, Ricky or Brent?! They are the cutest things. I hope I can get some better pictures of them when they stop moving around so much! There are about 8 of them.

Chocolate Milk Bay or Pensacola Pass?

Ricky and I tried to fish last Saturday. It was cold, rough and windy. We didn't go but about 10 miles out. I could barely stand and drop my line. We headed back in and got in the procession of cobia fisherman along the beach. Pensacola Pass and the water around the bend off Ft. Pickens was the color of chocolate milk from all the rain. It was d-i-r-t-y!
